About Pedersons

Pedersons was born in 1972 when Don and Maurine opened a fabric store in Paynesville, Minnesota. Maurine began making garments for their customers. She soon was making everything from men’s suits and wedding gowns, to stage clothing for western bands and nightclub acts, many of which were from Nashville, TN. A contract with a professional world-renowned women’s basketball team, the Arkansas Gems, marked Pedersons entry into the sports market.

It evolved into a full time athletic team uniform manufacturing company in 1979 with the addition of a contract with the Minnesota North Stars, and then the 1984 Olympic team making both team and replica jerseys, also known as sweaters.

Through the years, Pedersons began working with hockey associations, hockey schools, dealers, colleges, and pro teams, which they have continued to this day. With customers residing in over 30 states, many have been working with Pedersons for over 20 years.

After more than 34 years in business, Pedersons has become a well-known trademark in the world of athletic team gear. The company is still going strong with a reputation for excellent quality fabrics, workmanship and excellent fulfillment times.
